How it works
Built to be as quick as a speed test: one tap in, a clear answer out.
Forward, paste, or share a text, email, link, screenshot or photo straight from the app it's in.
Aiva looks for scam patterns, sketchy links, spoofed senders and signs of AI-made images, then swings the sus-o-meter.
Get a plain-English verdict plus next steps: delete, report, block, or relax, it's legit.
FAQ
Yes. Is This Sus? will be a free download on iPhone and Android, and checking things is free. If we ever add an optional paid extra, we'll say so clearly.
We don't sell your data. Only what you choose to share with the app gets checked. We don't read your inbox, contacts or photos, just the one item you send. And your waitlist email is used only to tell you about the launch.
Aiva is an AI assistant, and she's open about it. She does the checking and explains the results like a friend who happens to know a lot about scams. AI can make mistakes, so for anything involving money or your accounts, confirm with the company directly using a number or website you already trust.
Is This Sus? is made by Newaiv, an IT company in Denver, Colorado that helps businesses with tech and security every day. We built this because "is this real?" is the question we get asked most.
We're building it now. Join the waitlist and we'll send one email when it's ready in the App Store and Google Play.
